Bangladesh is exceptionally vulnerable to climate change. It has been estimated that by 2050, one in every seven people in Bangladesh will be displaced by climate change. To achieve long-term solutions,  Pranto believes that a sustained environmental education program can help the new generations to think differently about their natural resources. In connection to that, the best way to learn is by acting,  the Light to Life team has started an initiative that promotes inclusive climate education through play-based learning and participatory experience.

We reached adolescents and youths, mainly focused on women aged between 13-30 years from all over Bangladesh. The project has initiated an online platform titled “School of (Im)Possible.” The “School of (Im)Possible” project is an initiative aimed at empowering young women in communities to become leaders in the fight against climate change while promoting social justice and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

The project aims to address the interconnected issues of climate change, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and gender equality, with a particular focus on connecting young women and
adolescents in coastal communities. Its primary objectives include raising awareness of climate change among community members, especially young women, and empowering them to lead in addressing climate change, gender equality, and social justice. Additionally, the project seeks to educate young women about the importance of SRHR and implement community-based strategies for climate change adaptation. Collaboration and partnerships among community stakeholders are encouraged to ensure project sustainability. Furthermore, the project promotes the use of environmentally friendly products in everyday life as a means of minimizing environmental effects.

So far, our efforts have yielded significant outcomes in our mission to address the pressing issues of climate change and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) among youth and adolescents. We have conducted numerous online sessions with young individuals, fostering awareness and engagement on SRHR and Climate Action. Our "Festival for Change" featured an inspiring art competition that brought together participants to express their concerns and aspirations creatively. Additionally, we have developed a compelling storytelling module to amplify our message further. Installation art in three open spaces across four coastal divisions has captured the public's attention, drawing attention to the urgency of environmental conservation. To engage a wider audience, we have created a comic book centered on climate action and SRHR. Our commitment to environmental preservation is evident in the planting of over 1000 trees with the active involvement of 300+ youth, encouraging personal responsibility and rainforest restoration. Furthermore, to empower future environmental leaders, we have provided environmental leadership training to 14 universities. In contrast, 14 environmental education groups convene weekly to discuss conservation principles and engage in hands-on activities,  collectively promoting a more sustainable and responsible future.

In the future, Pranto intends to launch a second network entitled "Eco Prescription" to develop an environmentally sound system that would empower children and youth to be climate advocates. Pranto aims to continually enhance the platform by adding new, interesting, eco-focused mobile games, extending instructional content, and developing a dynamic community of environmentally conscious people. Furthermore, Pranto will expand his tree-planting efforts and work with organizations to have a tangible impact on reforestation efforts. In addition, mobile gamers can contribute indirectly to these initiatives by scoring points. Eco Prescription will be essential in educating, inspiring, and mobilizing the next generation to combat climate change and advance a sustainable future through smart partnerships, cutting-edge technology, and a growing user base with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
