I consider myself a globally conscious advocate of human rights and constantly strive to better the condition of the less fortunate. My current life in this pandemic has shown me the importance of knowledge in our lives; knowledge is the foundation of positive change that can be used to help less fortunate people and communities in times of crisis. In combination with good leadership and current cutting-edge technology, knowledge is a powerful tool that will help solve problems and unite different people from around the world to create lasting change. More than a global citizen, I am a daughter, sister, and friend. I am a girl who loves to play sports such as volleyball and crew. I love to read books such as the Red Queen, and crochet blankets for my family. I love participating in activities that will enable me to expand my understanding of both the world and individual subjects. I am an advocate for human rights and I am passionate about improving the environment we all live in through leadership and projects. I am a globally conscious citizen and I will be able to contribute using the knowledge of a straight-A student and the ability I possess of being able to speak English, Spanish, German, and French. I am an optimistic person who will contribute a positive outlook on life, and always support everyone on the team. I am also a natural-born leader with a teamwork mentality, and I will contribute a multitude of efforts, never ceasing to do the best I can do.

I am very interested in joining FXB Climate Advocates because I am very passionate about climate change. I work in an internship with John Opperman for the Earth Day Initiative to fight climate change and promote food sustainability. I am also part of the National Youth Leadership Council Roots & Shoots for Jane Goodall and work tirelessly in community projects to better the planet. Climate change is a very pressing matter that becomes more serious by the hour, and it is important to advocate for it and to find effective ways to stop it. I am passionate about learning more about climate change and will work tirelessly to inform others about it as well. Apart from what I mentioned before, I am part of my school's Green Club and of Friends of the Bay which works to help take care of marine animals and the various beaches of Long Island. All my life I have been immersed in climate change and constantly strive to better our environment. FXB Climate Advocates is an amazing opportunity that advocates for a very important cause. I am very interested in joining FXB Advocates and would be honored to be part of this amazing community of change makers.
