I would like to join the FXB Climate Advocates because I am a very passionate environmentalist and a climate change activist and I would like to be a driver of change, impact change in my community and mobilize the youth in my community to participate in the fight for climate justice. I also would like to learn about the causes and impacts of climate change, explore the intersection between climate and health, consumption, and energy, and harness my passions to lead climate solutions in my communities.
I am a young passionate environmentalist with a huge interest in climate change, education, sustainability, and development issues. I am a holder of a Bachelor's degree in environmental science which entails topics of climate change, energy, sustainable development, environment, culture, and community development among many other disciplines.
Having been involved in different sustainable development projects with Lokale Agenda 21 in Trier, during my internship, I developed an interest and passion for climate and climate finance. I also love volunteering.
My continent, Africa is one of the most affected by climate change, and my country, and my village is also of the most affected by climate change. I have witnessed rivers and crops dry up in my village and my country due to the effects of climate change. As an individual, I have taken it up to myself to plant as many trees as possible. This has brought a lot of change to my community.
