Oyinkansola Akinade
University of Ibadan, Nigeria

Oyinkansola AKINADE is a 400l student of the University of Ibadan majoring in forest production and products. She is ardent about sustainable development and sustainability management, waste management, water conservation, and climate change studies.
She is also a project manager, and currently a UI/UX Design trainee. In 2019, driven by the desire to reset the mindset of young people who are ignorant about the global issue; Climate Change and its effect, she founded an organization.
She is a member of the International Forestry Students Association, Intellectual community for Modern Foresters, a volunteer for Plogging Nigeria as well as a member and writer at the Sustainable Development Solutions Network UI Chapter.
She has been privileged to attend International Youth Summit (Korea), boot camps, leadership programs, seminars, and conferences. Recently, she led a team in an international competition on Environment and Sustainability held at Tongji University, Shanghai, and emerged among the top 12 while winning the Most Popular Team award. Likewise, she interned at Greenpeace USA through Paragon one to further boost her experience in environmental conservation and sustainability.
She has completed several courses and gained badges and certificates from top organizations; Boston Consulting Group, University of Irvine California, and UNCC among others.
She is passionate about one goal; To lead and live a purpose-driven life.
