My name is Mercy waithera kamau. Am an environmental and community development student in Kenyatta university. Am an practicing climate activist an aspiring climate advocate. My career goals are to ensure that the local and indigenous communities are empowered and well equipped with strategies that will bring sustainable livelihoods in an environmentally friendly manner when it comes t solving climate change issues. Am a practicing social safeguard and an environmental activist. As a sign for my love and commitment for environmental and issues am often involved in tree planting activities in my local community to help reduce climate crisis am a local climate activist who empower and create awareness on what indigenous groups and local communities should do to reduce impacts of climate change.
