Kelvin Muli: ASSESSING INFLUENCE OF LAND USE CHANGE ON NUTRIENT RETENTION IN YALA WETLAND

Yala wetland is under constant threat of conversion to agriculture. 8,300 ha of the wetland have already been reclaimed for agricultural use with 6,500 ha being proposed to be converted. I have managed to do mapping of the study area, engage community members in focus group discussions and collect data.
