Fiona Brown

I’m Fiona Brown, a youth leader and author working to promote environmental sustainability, peace and justice, and empower other youth. My work focuses on the pursuit of a more inclusive, just and sustainable world that responds to pressing social and ecological challenges. I am a Member of the Youth Constituency of the UN Framework for Climate Change, where I co-authored the Global Youth Statements for the Energy and Action for Climate Empowerment Working Groups that were presented at COP27. I am a member of the Ontario Nature Youth Council, and enjoy writing articles about environmental issues for magazines and blogs. As a Youth Delegate for YOUNGA 2022, a global sustainability conference, I co-authored the Peace and Justice Working Group statement, and I am very interested in the intersection of human rights and the environment. I am glad to be a member of the FXB Climate Advocate Program community.
