Blessings Makwakwa

Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR), Malawi

My name is Blessings Makwakwa, a graduate of Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources. I did BSc in Natural Resources Management Wildlife and Ecotourism.

I am very passionate about the job of serving the mother planet. In my previous work, I worked as a climate challenge program Malawi advocate. The project aims at combating climate change issues in prone areas - Machinga, Balaka, Zomba and Chikwakwa - to encourage local communities to adopt smart Agriculture and diversification of crops, promoting agroecology as well as permaculture to renew natural resources in their localities.

I am a determined and enthusiastic person with adequate knowledge of facilitation and analytical skills, research and data analysis. I am very interested to be part of this great movement of young leaders and activists combating climate change. I am ready to start working with you and my fellow young leaders as the time has come to make a change, fighting against climate abnormalities to have a clean environment.
