Babar Ali is an Environmental Science graduate with over 3 years of work experience in Sustainability, Circular Economy & Environmental Management field developing and managing all company-wide operational sustainability activities including Carbon neutrality, sustainable supply chain, Net Zero, Science-Based Targets, carbon emissions reduction strategy development, setting and achieving net zero targets.
He had hands-on experience in working on sustainability initiatives like Circular Economy & Waste Management, GHG emissions calculations, SBTi Goal setting, GHG Protocol, GRI reporting, and Carbon footprint calculations using different platforms like Higg Index, and BEPI for sustainability reporting, etc. to combat Climate Change and produce responsibly.
He has been part of different international fellowships on Climate change and sustainability including in "Circular Cities Summer School" by EIT Raw Materials Academy, "Inside the Circular Economy Program" by Ellen MacArthur Foundation, “Climate Action Intern” by 2811 and Oxford Climate Society for Hillary 2021 Cohort Participant.
He worked voluntarily for environment and community awareness by organizing various excursions, conferences, seminars, and workshops on environmental issues. He served as the President of the Environment Protection Society GCI, Lahore & awarded with the “Roll of Honor” for his service in the top environmental societies of Pakistan.
