The Florida Chapter of the FXB Climate Advocates program will engage youth in learning about climate change and taking community action to make the state more resilient. Florida faces the highest risk of coastal flooding due to sea-level rise in the United States. Since 1950, the sea level in Florida has risen 8 inches due to climate change. Our chapter will organize in-person events such as planting mangroves, beach clean-ups, and community awareness campaigns to prevent future damage due to climate change.​
